Sure was some racing tonight action The fire crews and medic crews where on the ball! Good job guys. The heat races ran well. Then there came the main events. I thought we had a full moon - all hell broke loose!!! I sure feel bad for the cars that have allot of damage. Hope they're able to get fixed and get back out. I would also like to let everyone know that the auction I held in the stands drew $56.00 $50.00 for the picture $5.00 for the visor and a $1.00 donation. 100% of the monies raised in the auctions will go into the drivers fund. Every week we will have a different autographed photo to auction. So, post here your driver's choice. There are 16 more races! There will also be some special items that will be auctioned as well. also sure wish we had used raceceivers at the track. Alot of the damages would not have happened and the line ups would have been 10 times easier. Would the board of directors please make a positive decision to start using them for the safety of everyone involved also i think we would have been out of there atleast an hour earler thank you.

I agree...from the stands this was a crazy but action packed night of racing. Really glad that no one was seriously hurt. I know it will be difficult for the racers whose cars were really busted up to get it together and back out there but hopefully their love of racing will allow them to do this. Maybe better than before! Also just wanted to let the track association know how much we appreciate the grassy area. When you have to bring little ones, it is the best! Thanks.

It was "Great Racing" but looks like you just lost your second class this year!!! Well unless you can run 2-3 prostocks and make it a class. Hmmm...after that great night, word on the street is many drivers will not be back. At least the Medical and Fire Crew know how to do THEIR jobs. Thanks!!

Funny how ppl get under here under fake and unknown names. Great racing and yes some bad wrecks. had nothing to do w track surface and track help. Seems to me the driver is ultimately the one in control. jmo every track has off nights and this is only the second race of the year and the first night was great:)

Gee, 8 classes down to 6...what a hearbreak. How will we all survive? What are we to do? The bomber class served no purpose anyway, I have said that before, it was kind of entertaining, but there were too many classes. If the pro stocks don't want to run, well that is up to them... I guess bad calls can be made in every sport except auto racing.

It was great racing...I have two things to say about the Pro Stock main event...
1) When the cars involved were coming out of turn two, Robbie actually really had no where to go when he was fish tailing out of the corner to try to pass on the outside, hit the stalled car and unfortunately rolled his own car.
2) As everyone is quick to "judge" when to and when not to throw a "caution" flag, as the flag man "reminds us all" that he tries his best to throw the yellow on the leader, in this case (of course just from what I saw with my eyes), even if the caution would have been thrown sooner or before the leader got to the flag stand (who has already half a track ahead of the rest of the pack), Robbie was already passed the flag stand and would have had to "race to the yellow" to keep his position anyway... it is unfortunate that the 64 car was stalled in the outside racing groove that Robbie chose to utilize as he tried to pass on the outside....
I am very happy that Robbie walked away and is ok as well as Mr Nevers, I wouldn't wish injury upon anyone...
But like LARA has said for YEARS, if you don't like what is going on or don't like the way the track is prepped, then VOLUNTEER or RUN FOR A BOARD POSITION...WE ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS and we can only do so much with the handful of volunteers that do help.

It was a great night of racing. For three red flags, lots of clean up on the track, and a long intermission, racing ended at a decent time! Track officials and volunteers try their very best to ensure safe, fast, fun filled night of racing! I give around of applause to all track officials and volunteers that give up countless hours to Rattlesnake! They are there during the week preparing the track, hours before racing, and hours after racing with a thank you not a paycheck for their work! If people are unhappy with how things run then maybe they should stand up and step into the shoes of someone that helps run Rattlesnake! Thank you again to all those that continue to make Rattlesnake the track that I call our home track ;D

Sikracr, nevadaracer, and Mrs26J I was just still mad after I spent all day monday removing half good and half destroyed parts from Robbie's car. The other thing you are all blaming Robbie for his actions after the wreck, most of the yelling was from me, not him! I am man enough to admit it and I am sorry. The ones whom I yelled at did not deserve my anger, I was in disbelief and shock at what I just witnessed. I hope no one else has to experience these feelings. BTW, this is Rob M and I used to volunteer at the track.
