Why the extra dollar discount for the stumbling rubbles? Trying to sooth a wounded ego? Let's see UNR 52 UC Bezerkly 31 Idaho 30 UNLV ?

The spuds only won by 23...that is a 7, not a smiley, my friend.
If UNLV loses to New Mexico, then I will be sizing up what to wear under the coconuts...Until then I will soldier on....

So NevadaRacer are you planning to pay the track the fees for the discounts that you are offering without discussing it with the treasurer.

Talked to Chris about it, twice, and he said to go for it.
Didn't know the discounts had to be paid for...If I have done something wrong, let me know.
I think that the thought was that we could attract some folks to the races who might otherwise stay home and watch the game and we could have some fun with it.
If it is an issue I'll take the thread down.

Steve I think when you posted the last comment you were using the computer in the fallon office because it posted under my log in, please log my user name off that computer.
I don't have a problem with it, it would just be nice to be informed before reading it across the message board, or to have all these people showing up expecting a discount and my gate people not know anything about it.

The discount will be fine but all fees are going to be the same, if you were any UNR or UNLV attire you will receive a $1.00 discount at the grand stand gate only.

UNR or, as the Vegas paper is calling them, Colin Kapernick University, still hasn't beaten a team with a winning record, as usual...lol...
UNLV is pumped after a 45-10 thumping of New Mexico, which included one of the most brutal blind side hits ever on a qb that resulted in a fumble return for a touchdown.
Cannon to be Red...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Nevada Southern Univ rebels' first win of the season against Univ of NM. I'm sure they would have had a tougher game against Wooster High. LMAO Did you happen to see who's ranked #25? Cannon to stay blue for the 6th year in a row. It's going to be like a broken record Saturday night at Sam Boyd Stadium......"And it's Colin Kapernick for the touchdown." UNR by 21+

Drucilla, go look up how many teams with a winning record UNR has defeated in the last five years...lol...you may be surprised, people who truly know about college football are not...
Eastern Washington, a FCS (Div IAA) school, shouldn't even count as a win, they are 2-2. Cal is 2-2 BYU is 1-3 CSU is 1-3
When UNR plays a school with a winning record, which won't be until the Fresno or Boise games, wake me up. Until then zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

NVRacer; Following your logic; the only team UNLV beat is now 0-4, UNR has played teams that have won at least one game. UNR is in SOME polls top 25. UNLV is where (besides the toilet)?

If it weren't for Univ of NM, nevada southern rebels would finish the 2010 season winless. People who know college football realize you have to play all teams in your conference and the easy gimme's like the one this weekend in vegas, making it hard to play teams with winning records. People who know college football also know the #25 Pack beat a Cal team that was averaging giving up 160 total yards per game. The #25 Pack hung a measly 500 yards and 52 points on Cal, whose only other loss was to #14 Arizona. One of the benefits of the #25 Pack's upcoming move to the Mountain West Conference in 2012 is better competition and a guaranteed conference win against the weaker Nevada team in the south. It will be more than just bragging rights and a blue Fremont Cannon. Cheers, Steve-O.
