just to clear it up you can race there without a membership but you will not get the discount at the gate so instead of paying 40 you will pay 45 for car and driver and for pit crew member it is 30 without and 25 with. keep in mind that you also get insurance when you are a member, and you also get a free pit stall this year it should be fun i'm ready! i will also be at fallon! lets have some fun this year!

NASCAR and Reno-Fernley Raceway requires all drivers, racing for NASCAR Points, to have a NASCAR License.
Reno-Fernley Raceway requires the Pit Crew Chief, of every NASCAR Licensed Driver, to have a NASCAR Crew License.
Sounds like if you don't give a rats ass about NASCAR points, then it's game on!
There should be a compramise of some sort. Turning someone away because they are not hep to KYLECAR, I mean NASCAR's way of doing things is strange.
I want nothing but good things RFR. I want RFR to succeed. And that will take good car counts.

They keep telling us that. I think they had a brain fart when they put that in. I hope everyone realizes that they don't have to have licenses for any pit ppl unless they want to.

We'd like to make a show or two but joining NASCAR? I don't think so. Rather put fuel in the truck than run for the meaningless (to us) points. Wish they'd get this clarified as it doesn't sound like anybody knows for sure. Won't get many other visitors either, I suspect.

1. Driver must have a valid NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division 1 (Feature) License to receive NASCAR points. Pit Crew Chief must have a valid NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Crew License for NASCAR insurance coverage at Reno-Fernley Raceway
This is taken from RFR website. It doesn't say you have to have a license to race, just a license to get NASCAR points
