Why does fallon have so many 2 day shows? One in oct seems more than enough.

It is hurting car counts, no one wants them.

My only problem with this weekends 2 day show is I have to work on Tuesday and races don't start until 5 on Monday. Gonna be a long night and have to go to work the next day...

2 day shows are fine. But... NOBODY (including myself) wants to race on a work night. It isn't worth risking your job.
I'm an electrician, and with construction being dead, there are couple 100 people ready to take my job in an instant. I can't afford to risk that due to lack of production from being tired because I had to race to stay in the points chase. If anything, make the 4th an open night and not make it a points race.

its hard enough to get cars to show up for one night these days. i love to race and would race every day if i could but it doubles the expense and its hard to convince people to come sit ther with you to help for two days especially when it doesnt have the big even feeling like the DTC brings.

Well then have the races earlier in the day. You could at least get some main events done before it gets dark and then do the fireworks then finish the mains. On Memorial Day when the races started at noon on Monday, I was able to leave around 7. That was great for work the next day. Granted that's too early for fireworks but the earlier you start, the earlier you get out.

Also, with Octane Fest I didn't go because I would have raced Thursday night and had work the next day as well.. it would have just been too much. A 6:00 race on a Thursday?? Not a good idea.

This race has been a points race since the schedule was printed and your waiting tell the week before to start bitching? Most of us plan a little in advance like 3 months ago.

The Octane Fest was not a track decision, we basically get what the city offers us to race on sorry that it was on a Thursday but we had no say so. As for fourth of July we race that day every year, we always start around the same time, sorry for any inconvience this may cause for you. We are seriously talking about not having two day shows next year.

Now is as good of a time as any to start complaining. Just because we know in advance does not mean we can make better plans as far as work.

The race only became a points race as of the other day. This 3 months ago crap is for the birds... Oh yeah. It would help if there was only one schedule going around. You're schedule might have said that, but the schedule on the website has said otherwise ALL SEASON!!!

Hey now, the fans like the two day races. Are we really going to blame Rattlesnake for the 4th of July being on a Monday. They always have a 4th of July race, and it's always terrifice. If you don't want to be there for a terrific night of racing don't come.
