My question is if a class gets considerable more cars will the class get the purse raised accorddingly. Like say mods get 30 cars r u goin to add another 500 to 1st 300 to 2nd and 200 to third. That only seems fair. Since entries r a hundred a piece and guaranteed at least one pit guy. Just my opinion.

sikracer, we have not determined payouts for the DTC yet, we go based upon car count and pit entry count. All payouts will not be determined until Sunday after the races are over. The only guarantees is what is listed above.
Thanks Stacy, track treasurer

Is there going to be a B main on Sat no matter how many cars in a class or just if there is the need?

There will only be B Mains for those classes that have more than 20 to 22 cars. Heat and Qualifying Races will be running on Saturday night. The accumulated points from Saturday will determine your starting position in the A Mains on Sunday. The B Mains will be ran on Sunday.

So once again we are paying twice as much for a single one night show spread out over two nights of racing...just my conclusion!

If a team has a prior commitment for the 2nd, can we show on the 3rd and try to race our way in?

So once again we are paying twice as much for a single one night show spread out over two nights of racing...just my conclusion! mrs26j, As I recall, people were pissed off about this last year as well, but obviously they haven't seen fit to change it. Twice as much money, half as much racing. It's got to be alot of work to put on 2 full nights of racing with that many cars, but it's the biggest show of the year, and I would think they would be willing to do it. It was definitely a lot more fun to watch the DTCs back when they were 2 full day shows so I am exercising my right to not attend this year, as I hear a lot of other people are doing as well.

It may be worth it for those cars/classes that have more than 15 cars each and every single night, but for my class (bombers) where we have had four cars the last four races, it is not worth it. Unfortunately for me, my dad was coming to watch me race, but I am torn between paying that much for me to race one, maybe two, races per night and not racing at all. It is not that hard to run a full show each night and accumulate the points for an overall winner...that is just my own opinion!

Basically, for most classes, you will get a heat and a main on Saturday. Then on Sunday another main for the money and we are also running dash for cash's.
Hogracer3d, yes you may but the entry is the same and you will have tp possible start at the back of the B Main and work your way in.

DTC. what will determine the lineup fore the "A" main on sunday? heat winner on the "A" main pole, etc-etc... or inverted? top 4 in the heat's or ?
also will all regesterd car's in every class be able to race in the "A" main "acording to position" to have a shot at the big money on sunday?

WOW, first of all. MRS26j. if you read Rusty's post and count the races you will see that sat night, heat & qualifier = 2 and Sunday will be B Main & Dash for cash & A main =3 so 3+2=5possible. and i think the other would be heat +b main and A main X 2 nights = 6 Also you are paying a larger fee so you have a larger purse, but if you like; for the bombers i will gladly pay you normal and let you run 2 complete shows. 2nd of all two complete shows goes way to late that is why in the past the track has reduced to this kind of show.
27z the first nite will set up the line up for the second nite, it will be heads up racing.
silk I hope we have lots of cars and that way we can adjust payouts accordingly.

Bombers could race a full show on Saturday, paying $50.00 entry fee and winning purse could be $250.00. Then they can race a full show in one night for their fans and not pay so much. Not trying to be mean to this class just a thought since there is not very many of them.

It is not about the payout, Lumpy4080. It never has been for me...it is about how much racing is done for the money we are asked to pay...I understand that racing two full shows tends to run later, but I thought that is why we start earlier on those days...but then again, I thought we were here to put on a show for the fans...
And, I did acknowledge that bombers may run one or two races per night in my previous post - up to four races if no B main is necessary...
But if we ran two full shows, then we could run heats/mains on both nights and cut out qualifiers and dash for cashes...pay winners of main events as stated in DTC rules and then pay one overall winner for each class a bonus amount - doesn't have to be much...results = about the same amount of money going out to drivers and drivers get the opportunity to race up to four races...possibly five races if a B Main is required for their class...
crazi4racing - if they run the bombers full show on Sat because we have a small car count, then I would say then they should do that for any class with a low car count - eight or less I would suggest.
So after reading this post, I meant to suggest/type "pay the main event winners a bonus amount" and then take accumulative points from both nights to pay the classes according to DTC payouts...
